Dr. Richard Chaet
Dr. Chaet is from Chicago, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree, dental degree and a master’s degree in oral pathology at the University of Illinois. He obtained his specialty and master’s degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Iowa. Dr. Chaet has been in private practice since 1976 and moved to the valley in 1980 with his wife, Susan, and two children, Brian and Steven.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Chaet is the former chairman of the council on Clinical Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. This committee is responsible for reviewing and writing the policies and guidelines for pediatric dentists nationwide. He is also the past chairman of the committee on Behavior Management charged with rewriting the behavior management guidelines for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Locally, Dr. Chaet is a consultant to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners and also conducts oral conscious sedation site visits. He is a past president of the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is very active in local charitable organizations and hospitals. His hobbies include golf, scuba diving, hiking and fly fishing.
Dr. Julie Anfinson
Dr. Anfinson is from Oskaloosa, Iowa. She received her undergraduate degree from William Penn College and her dental degree from the University of Iowa. She spent the next year in a general hospital residency at Oklahoma Memorial Children’s Hospital. Dr. Anfinson received her pediatric dental specialty education and master’s degree at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. She moved to the valley in 1987.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Anfinson is a consultant to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. She also conducts site visits and evaluates dentists who are applying for their license in oral conscious sedation. She is very active in local charities and is a member of several hospital staffs. Her hobbies include spending time with her three girls, scuba diving, traveling and reading.
Dr. Timothy Wilson
Dr. Timothy Wilson is from Bemus Point, New York. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Allegheny College and then earned his Doctorate in Dental Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Dentistry. In 2001 he moved to Tucson and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program on the Tohono O’odham Indian reservation. He spent the following three years treating underserved children in downtown Phoenix before returning to New York and completing his pediatric specialty education at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wilson is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is an oral sedation examiner for the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners and serves on the Arizona Dental Association Council on Dental Education. Dr. Wilson is on the Medical Staff at Scottsdale Healthcare.
Dr. Wilson met his wife, Amanda, while he was studying in Australia. They live in Scottsdale with their two children, Ally and Jonathan. They enjoy traveling (mainly to Australia), reading, geocaching and off-road adventures.
