Dr. Chad Eardley Joins Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics

There’s a new member of the dynamic team of doctors at Scottsdale’s Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. Pediatric dentist Dr. Chad Eardley comes to APDO from Mesa, Arizona, decorated both in the field of dentistry and the armed services.

Originally from Monticello, Utah, Dr. Eardley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Southern Utah University and then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from A.T. Still University and the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) in Mesa, Arizona. In addition to his dental degree, he was awarded a Certificate in Public Health Management from UNC Chapel Hill in 2007.  

Dr. Eardley is also a decorated Major in the U.S. Army.  He started his Army career as a Dental Resident at Love Dental Clinic located on Fort Benning, Georgia where he was chosen by the faculty as his class’ Honor Graduate for his post-doctoral coursework. His follow-on assignment was as a General Dental Officer, in Heidelberg, Germany from 2008-2010. During this tour he was selected for Specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Texas A&M; Health Science Center / Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas, from 2010 to 2012 earning his specialty degree in Pediatric Dentistry. After completion of specialty training, he returned to Europe to serve as the Chief of Pediatric Dentistry for the Vicenza Dental Clinic Command in Italy.  

Dr. Eardley is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and joins three other pediatric dentists and three orthodontic specialists.

“APDO has an excellent reputation in the Scottsdale and Phoenix areas and I was looking for a practice that fit my own philosophy of helping people,” Eardley said.

The dentists at Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics pride themselves on offering their patients comprehensive dental treatment using the most progressive methods. They serve patients beginning with their first dental visit, usually by the time a child turns one, and continuing through any orthodontic needs they may have and into adulthood. Patients flock to APDO’s two Scottsdale offices from not only that town, but also from Paradise Valley, and North Phoenix.

Dr. Eardley is and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  He and his wife, Brooke, have 4 children, Austin, Ava, Olivia and Emy who all enjoy being outdoors, hiking, biking and exploring.
